T-Ball Level: Pre-K (age 4)(Boys and Girls)

This level is exclusively for our little people as their introduction to baseball and softball and team sports.  All bat each inning.

 

  • Days of week:  Mondays & Wednesdays
  • Practices begin:  May 20th
  • Opening Day: June 8th
  • End of year tournament:  July 26th thru 28th
  • Cost:  $65 total (Registration Fee $45 + HYAA Program Fee $20)
  • Included in registration is a hat, pants, belt, and shirt. Please be sure to select your pants and shirt sizes based on the Size charts included or last years sizes.

 

 

 

Farm (coach toss):  Ages 5-6

This level is a step above T-Ball for our Baseball Players. (Please note: In House Softball is available at this level for our softball families. Of course, any young ladies that wish to continue with baseball are more than welcome!) Coaches will toss the ball underhand to the batter to begin to familiarize the kids with a moving ball versus stationary. All bat each inning.

 

  • Days of week:  Tuesday & Thursdays
  • Practices begin:  May 14th
  • Opening Day: June 8th 
  • End of year tournament:  July 26th thru 28th
  • Cost:  $65 total (Registration Fee $45 + HYAA Program Fee $20)
  • Included in registration is a hat, pants, belt, and shirt. Please be sure to select your pants and shirt sizes based on the Size charts included or last years sizes.

 

 

Minors (machine pitch):  Ages 7-8

At this level standard baseball is introduced with specific restrictions such as run limits per inning to continue player development. These rules will be comparable to last season.

 

  • Days of week:  Monday, Wednesday
  • Practices begin:  May 13th
  • Opening Day: June 8th
  • End of year tournament:  July 26th thru 28th
  • Cost:  $105 total (Registration Fee $85 + HYAA Program Fee $20)
  • Included in registration is a hat, pants, belt, and shirt. Please be sure to select your pants and shirt sizes based on the Size charts included or last years sizes.

 

 

 

Majors (kid pitch): Ages 9-10

This is the final stop before traveling baseball! Kids may choose to play traveling ball at this point or remain in house if they need further development. At this level ALL MBL rules will apply with regard to play on the field. We will have umpires at this level next year for the full season including playoffs. By playing under the same set of field rules as MBL, the players will be best prepared to take the leap to traveling when they are ready.

 

  • Days of week:  Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday
  • Practices begin:  May 14th
  • Opening Day: June 8th
  • End of year tournament:  July 26th thru 28th
  • Cost: $165.00 total (Program Fee $145 + HYAA Program Fee $20)
  • Included in registration is a hat, pants, belt, and shirt. Please be sure to select your pants and shirt sizes based on the Size charts included or last years sizes.

CHASE PASSAUER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

RNYB/HYAA HAS ESTABLISHED THE CHASE PASSAUER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND FOR FAMILIES IN NEED TO ENSURE ALL YOUTH HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN BASEBALL.  THE FUND HONORS ITS NAMESAKE AND HIS LOVE OF BASEBALL, BOTH AS A PLAYER AND UMPIRE.  TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A SCHOLARSHIP, COMPLETE THIS APPLICATION AND RETURN IT TO THE HYAA TREASURER or PREsident.
