Travel Baseball-Travel Softball-In-House Registration dates are January 8th thru February 28th
New for 2026, we have moved our In-House Softball program into our In-House T-Ball-Farm-Minors Baseball Program. Due to limited numbers and a wide age range, girls will participate at their respective age groups up thru Farm and then make the decision on moving over to U8 Softball. We discussed this at length as all of the skill sets are the same and want to ensure the kids will continue to develop up until they make the move to U8 softball where they will then start using a softball along with the skills they learned up until then.
The Hastings Youth Athletic Association is a volunteer organization and needs your help.
Your donation of time and talent is vital in helping us grow the program and keeping the participation fees low. Parents/Guardians are required to volunteer time for each child, for each sport.
Traveling Baseball & Traveling Softball Volunteer Requirements
If you are registering 3+ children, complete registration for all, and HYAA will refund any fees beyond the 16 Dibs hours maximum per family.
You may choose the volunteer buy-out option if you prefer to not volunteer. This additional amount will be added to your total payment at checkout.
Some volunteer opportunities are listed below and additional volunteer tasks will be posted under the Dibs section as they become available throughout the season.
HYAA will no longer be collecting checks for Dibs. Your credit card will be charged $1.00 at checkout for Dibs. If you do not complete your volunteer requirements, your credit card will automatically be charged for the remaining Dibs fee of $399 in August 2026.
If volunteer requirements are met, the remaining $399 Dibs fee will not be charged. The initial $1 fee is nonrefundable.
Volunteer Hours Buyout – You may select to buy out of Dibs hours during registration in the amount $300.
VFW & Legion Baseball – volunteer hours will be communicated with registration.
Volunteer Opportunities - The following volunteer options are listed when registering; coach, assistant coach, team manager. If you are not selected or able to fulfill that role you will be expected to fill your volunteer requirements by claiming Dibs opportunities posted on our website.
