T-ball his handled thru the HYAA baseball program.  Players in this division are currently enrolled in kindergarten or will be in Kindergarten next year and are typically 4, 5 or 6 years old. Approximately 100 players are expected to register and these kids will be divided into 10 teams. Team size is kept to 10 or less to ensure more one-on-one attention from the coaching staff. T-Ball is co-ed with boys and girls mixed together.

Most times T-Ball is the players' first experience with baseball. The players learn the very basics of the game. Emphasis will be placed on individual participant's hitting, fielding, base running, catching, and throwing skills. No score will be kept and no playoff tournament will occur at this level of play. The schedule consists of half games and half practices.

• Players will use a soft touch safety ball to reduce the chance of injury.
• Batter will hit off a batting tee for the first half of the season. A coach may pitch the ball to the batters the second half of the season to introduce the batters to hitting a moving ball.
• All players will bat consecutively in the batting order. A continuous batting order will carry over to the following games. This will result in all players receiving the same number of at bats throughout the season.
• Every batter will each bat one-half inning. When all batters have hit, the defensive team will then bat following the same procedures.
