NOTES:

• Due to High School gym availability, try-outs will occur on two consecutive Saturdays
• All participants should be warmed up and ready to go at the designated time. 
• Check in 30 minutes prior to your scheduled try-out time and please be ready (stretched and warmed up) by the time designated above for your age group Scoring will be done by 3rd party evaluators.
• Evaluators will focus on out-field skills, in-field skills, hitting, and arm strength.
• Parents are asked to keep away from the players and evaluators during try-outs.
• Try-outs are MANDATORY - if a player cannot make the try-out, a parent must call the HYAA phone and leave a message (437-8838 opt 2)

PREPARATION:

Minnesota winters can be long making it difficult to prepare for try-outs. It's up to the players/parents to prepare for the try-outs. There are winter camps available through various sources. When the weather permits, players should be playing catch whenever possible to get their arms into shape. If you can get into batting cages, that will also help.

It's also a known fact that the older kids that take advantage of school ball, will have a distinct advantage during try-outs.

NO REFUND if a player drops after March 26th, 2008. NO REFUND of Fundraiser Fee after the player is registered. NO REFUND of any late fee.
